Intimate, Dreamy Affair of Ananda & Sakshi at Home

Beautiful Intimate Wedding of Ananda & Sakshi.

This beautiful couple Ananda and Sakshi were friends before they got into a relationship and 6 years later, they decided to tie the knot. They got engaged in February 2020 and in January 2021 they took the plunge with an intimate affair at home. The wedding was planned and executed by Aashna Saran, Founder of Aash Studio.

The guest list was capped to only include their closest family and friends and the wedding was LIVE streamed for extended family and friends. If you’re planning for a lock-down wedding, then take some pointers from this wedding.

While many couples lose their sleepover planning a wedding, Ananda & Sakshi simply placed their trust in Aashna and her team. Aash Studio went on to exceed their expectations by making it the most beautiful event of their lives.

From the Couple:

Sharing his experience of working with Aashna Saran, Ananda said, “Aashna was extremely patient and kind and understood exactly what we were looking for. Considering it was a home wedding and was planned at fairly short notice, we believed it would perhaps be a much more sober, muted affair. She went over and above anything, we could have possibly imagined. The Aash Studio team turned an old open-air bungalow that was home to my grandfather into a stunning wedding venue with an ‘English Vintage’ theme and we were left absolutely awestruck and elated with the outcome.

Review from Aash Studio:

Aashna Saran Founder and Creative Head, Aash Studio quotes – “Putting together a wedding is one thing but what really matters is putting together a wedding coinciding with the couple’s emotions and what they love the most. And that is what I believe adds soul into the wedding. Ananda and Sakshi’s wedding was just that. We created a mandap complementing the interiors of the bungalow and we focused on elevating what the couple mutually love the most – the outdoor garden. When Ananda approached me for an intimate wedding, I was ecstatic. It was love at first sight, the first time I saw the house he lived in; there are projects we do from our hearts, and there are projects that make us fall in love with the spaces, and I believe this was one of those spaces, like an old ancestral home of his grandfather’s, that I thought would be my first and last chance to work at. From his grandmother’s pottery to the stunning green painted walls and the hundred-year-old cut tile flooring, there were so many memories everywhere. I decided I didn’t want to do something intrusive as soon as I saw the space. We used the wooden beams on their ceilings and hung flowers to give it a lovely boho vibe since it was a tiny space with just a few people attending the wedding. We have used macrame in our decor, which completely stood out. Hosting Ananda’s wedding in their home was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
